For those of you that don't know, I have a team of phenomenal hair and makeup artists that I work with on jobs, and that are available for bookings for jobs I am not available for.

Service and quality of work is EXTREMELY important to me. On your big day, I want only the BEST for my clients. I have hand picked some of the best artists and hair stylists in the business to join my team, Krystie Ann Beauty Group.

Shannon Paige 

Shannon worked behind the scenes as a professional photographer for many years. Her sharp eye for art and beauty shows on all her clients. She now continues to work behind the scenes glamming up faces with the art of makeup! She is a graduate of Rinaldi’s College of Esthetics, and has been working alongside myself this past year. She is passionate about making a difference in how her clients look and feel. Her sincere passion for the beauty industry shows in the magnificent work she does. Shannon is a fun, creative and professional addition to the team!

Melissa Hall

An accomplished and creative makeup artist, Melissa is a graduate from Complections Int. School of Makeup Art. She worked at MAC cosmetics for 8 years and completed many levels of education and certifications. Her talents have been seen in “PIE magazine”, on “OMNI TV” and “The Toronto Film Festival”, just to name a few. Her bubbly personality and passion for fashion and beauty truly shines when working with her clients. You can be assured you are in great hands when working with Melissa!

Beautiful Jellyfish Restaurant Wedding, Punta Cana

One of my favourite wedding venues in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, is the Jellyfish Restaurant. Its a beautiful location, right on the beach! The service and food is amazing!

Last month I had the pleasure of glamming up three beautiful ladies for a fabulous beach wedding!
These ladies were awesome! Such great energy and enthusiasm, super nice and super fun!  I had such a great morning helping to get them ready for Kelly's big day!

Trash The Dress: Punta Cana - Majestic Elegance

Trash the dress shoots, are some of my favourite shoots! They are so intimate and romantic and can be super sexy and the couples don't even have to try!

Renee and Mike are a sweet couple I got to meet last week. Renee and I had an early start to get her glammed up so she could be ready for sunrise, but she was a great sport and I think she looked BEAUTIFUL!

I wanted to share some images from their TTD shoot that was captured by Jamie Dimitry on the beaches of Punta Cana at the Majestic Elegance resort.

A Thank you message from a wonderful client!

These days with the wonderful tools of facebook and other social media outlets, its easy for me to stay in touch with my past brides. Most often the end up becoming regular clients of mine! I get the opportunity to glam them up for maternity shoots, anniversary dinners, parties etc. Which I TOTALLY LOVE! I Love being able to maintain a relationship with my clients. Without them I would not be where I am today!

Yesterday, I did get a special surprise via Snail mail. :) I LOVE thank you cards! They are so nice to open amongst the bills lol

Winter Punta Cana Weddings: NEW STYLIST ADDITION!

As many of you have read or heard, I am travelling to punta cana this winter to glam up some beautiful destination weddings!

I have had an overwhelming number of bookings for the winter months, and am excited to announce I am going to be getting some assistance during the month of February!

My dear friend and phenomenal hair stylist Richard Andrew is going to be joining Krystie Ann's Beauty Group and myself (www.krystieann.com) and booking destination weddings with me!

Beat the heat! Humidity Proof Makeup Tips!

Yes, we are melting! Oy vey!
Doesn't mean your makeup has to!

Follow these helpful tips to beat the heat and keep your "mug" melt proof!


Start with using an oil absorbing moisturizer or mattifying lotion. Arbonne makes a great one from their FC5 line WITH SPF!






Begin your makeup routine with a primer. Smashbox, Quo, Gosh + Arbonne also make spectacular primers. It does help shield makeup from moisture. If you want to skip the powder apply a lose dusting of pressed powder BEFORE you apply your liquid products. This will still create a barrier for your foundations and help matify the skin.

Following your foundation or concealer, apply a pressed powder or oil mattifier powder. Keep it with you throughout the day for quick touch ups!

Other great products are waterproof mascara and eyeliner. My favs are: L'oreal voluminous mascara, and maybeline waterproof gel liner. Godsends. CARGO also makes a fabulous waterproof bronzer, which is fantastic for the hot summer months or while away on vacay!


Keep on hand, oil blotters which are great for absorbing any surface shine!

Follow these tips, and you should have a fairly smudge-melt proof face!
